About the Lessons

Cian O’Sullivan provides one-to-one drum tuition for students of all ages and experience levels. Lessons focus on developing confidence, rhythm, and creativity while keeping sessions engaging and fun.

Students can learn by ear, through songs they enjoy, or work toward graded exams (RIAM, Trinity, Rockschool). Each session is tailored to the student’s goals and musical interests.

Cian O’Sullivan

Cian O’Sullivan is a professional drummer and educator based in Douglas, Cork. He holds an MA in Music Performance and has over a decade of experience performing and teaching drums.

His performance highlights include working as a professional musician at Walt Disney World in Florida, as well as touring and recording with several Irish and international acts.

Cian has studied under renowned drummers such as Dave Elitch (Mars Volta), Mark Guiliana (David Bowie), and Ralph Peterson Jr. (Art Blakey). He brings this experience to his lessons, providing students with a modern, versatile, and inspiring approach to drumming.

Lessons are suitable for all ages and levels — from beginners taking their first steps, to experienced drummers preparing for professional or academic paths.
